I visited Mr Makki regarding Carpol Tunnel Sysndrome who gave me a steroid injection. I felt very relaxed and assured during the treatment. He explained the procedure in every detail and how to move forward from then. Would highly recommend him/

Mr Makki was very good at listening to my problem and explaining clearly how to take things forward, both in terms of the care options and the processes that surround them. My surgery was good and after my follow up consultation he took the time to explain the nature of a slight complication which put my mind to rest. I am currently progressing well and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Many thanks for your review ! And I hope things will progress well-I am not sure if you put one star by mistake as the rating doesn’t not reflect the comments :)

I was seen as an NHS patient at Spire, Harpenden for a carpal tunnel operation on my right hand. The incision has completely healed and is no longer visible, although I now have hard scar tissue under the surface of the skin. Before the operation I experienced stabbing pains in my fingers, almost like an electric shock, and thankfully these have disappeared. I also had severe muscle wastage in the base of my right thumb, and this condition is now improving. I had the operation under local anaesthetic and it was painless. Dr Makki rang me 8 weeks after the operation to check on my condition and to answer any questions I might have. I would recommend him.

Mr Makki is a very caring Doctor who gives you the chance to explain your problem. He will then say something like so you are experiencing..... and he will repeat the symptoms as you have explained it to him. He will examine you thoroughly and then suggest a course of action, he explains in great detail what he is doing and why and what benefits you should reap from his actions. If they don't work, he then suggests an alternative option and again explains it very well.
